The University College of Social Sciences in Poland, has approached the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), Ogbomoso for educational collaboration towards the achievement of the goals of the two institutions of higher learning. Speaking during a courtesy call on the office of the Vice Chancellor of LAUTECH on Monday, the Rector of the University College, Dr. Cezary Wosinki, noted that the unique curriculum at LAUTECH stands it out, adding that it is the best University of Technology in Nigeria, going by information at his disposal.

So, it has just been confirmed that the news and fliers circulating in Lautech about a talent show that will feature popular musician like Dammy Krane and Young Skales is a big RUMOUR! This was confirmed in a tweet send by @youngskales to @Slymbz(probably a ladokite) which said "Das a big lie bro" (see pics below). He also stated that he wasn’t booked for any event at Lautech and that he is currently in Atlanta.

Talk about a severance package. A man is alleging that he went into Princeton Baptist Medical Center for a circumcision and woke up from his procedure to find out that his penis been amputated! Needless to say, he and his wife have filed a medical malpractice lawsuit, which names the hospital, Urology Centers of Alabama, the Simon-Williamson Clinic, and two doctors as defendants in the case. Apparently, one doctor performed the surgical procedure that was a snip too far back in June.

The result of pds examination which was concluded on Monday, 21 July 2014 in Lautech has been released today. The result contain the test scores, exam scores and then the aggregate. As the pds students know, the pass mark for admission is 250, but there is still hope for students that didn't make up to the cut off mark. If your pds aggregate is not up to 250 but you had up to 180 in your Utme, you can still hurry and register for the upcoming post-utme. Remember post Utme registration ends on Friday 25th of July, 2014 so make hay while the sun shines. You can check your result here . The 'now ex-pdites' should also remember that the ict programme will be starting on the 11th of August, 2014 and it is compulsory.  We say a big congratulations to students who score at least 250 and above! More information on the admission process will be communicated soon.

The upcoming post utme comprises of five compulsory subjects which include Mathematics, English, Chemistry, Physics and Biology. These should be the same subjects the candidate must have written in the just concluded Jamb/Utme. Lautech being a school of technology and science requires only science subject for the entrance examination. We'll keep you posted for further necessary information before the examination date. This year, the Outstanding Students' Choice Award of Recognition(Oscar) Nigeria comes to the prestigious Ladoke Akintola University of Thechnology, Ogbomosho. The Award was last hosted by Obafemi Awolowo University(OAU) and the organizers of the unprecedented electrifying event, OscarNigeria and Ecstasy International have announced that the train has moved to the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, LAUTECH.  The event has been scheduled to hold on Friday 22 August, 2014, at Salco Hotel, Lautech Area, Ilorin Road, Ogbomoso. Registration for Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH) 2014/2015 post UTME screening ends this week Friday, July 25, 2014. The university has invited LAUTECH candidates who scored 180 and above and those that did not take LAUTECH as their choice but are interested in LAUTECH are invited for the screening exercise, which will be conducted through E- Examination – Computer Based Testing (CBT) on the University campus in Ogbomoso while that of DE Screening will be through Oral Interview.
