NAUS CONDEMNED ATTACK ON STUDENT UNION PRESIDENT BY THE AGENTS OF GOVERNOR SAMUEL ORTOM OF BENUE STATE The attention of the leadership of National Association of University Students' (NAUS) had been drawn to the attack made by the agents of Governor Samuel Ortom of Benue State against comrade Bobby,student union president of Benue State University,Markurdi during the emergency congress called yesterday by the leadership of student union to decide the next line of action on the strike. The university student body see the action of the Governor of Benue State as ungodly,uncalled for and total embarrassing. NAUS therefore pass a vote of no confidence on Governor Samuel Ortom of Benue State for his lackadaisical attitude towards the student leaders in the state. EBOLA: Lab Scientists Hold Lecture In Lautech.

Lautech scientists have joined the fight against the spread of the DEADLY Ebola virus which since it crept into Nigeria has managed to spread rapidly like wild fire. Today, Lautech hosted a seminar that buttressed on the deadly Ebola disease. The Federal Government has reassured Nigerians and other residents that there is no new case of Ebola outbreak.  Addressing a joint news conference in Abuja, the Minister of Health, Professor Onyebuchi Chukwu says two persons, who had primary contact with the late Patrick Sawyerr, who died of Ebola virus in Lagos, had been quarantined while 69 others were under close surveillance.
