Presidential Campaign Heats Up. Are The Allegations True Or False?

Not long it seemed all was going well between the presidential candidates President Goodluck Jonathan and Muhammadu Buhari, but recently there have been allegations going about between the respective parties. Buhari has been accused of being an Islamic extremist, monumental fraud and not finishing high school. On Sunday, President Goodluck Jonathan's campaign chief Femi Fani-Kayode added another that the 72-year-old was "mortally ill" from prostate cancer. Although he replied in self defence that "How they got the impression that I was sick I don't know," he told a news conference on Sunday, revealing that the only health issue he had was a cold and that all the allegations were based on desperation . According to Yahoo news, Dapo Thomas, a politics lecturer at the Lagos State University, called it a "gutter campaign" borne out fear in the PDP that it could lose power for the first time in 16 years. [Breaking]: Nigeria's president orders removal of #BringBackGoodluck posters

 There has been quite a rave about how insensitive President Good-luck Jonathan is because of the 2015 election campaign sign that was put up in Abuja. But there's more to this news. The president completely denied any knowledge of the signs and banner, he said they all done without his consent. Whether the denial is true or just a political stunt to save his ass is unknown to us, but whichever way, the sign posts and banners have been order down. See more info... Yahoo - Nigeria's President Goodluck Jonathan has ordered the removal of signs and banners that mimic the social media campaign to release more than 200 kidnapped schoolgirls, his spokesman said on Wednesday. Reuben Abati said the head of state shared the view that the #BringBackGoodluck2015 signs, apparently backing his re-election next year, were "offensive and repugnant".

Aregbesola wins Osun polls

Osun state governor and the candidate of the All Progressives Congress APC has been declared winner of saturday’s governorship election. In the result announced by the returning officer who is also the VC Obafemi Awolowo University OAU Ile-Ife, Professor Bamitale Omole, Aregbesola won majority of the poll with 394,684 votes against Senator Iyiola Omisore of PDP who polled 292,747 votes.
