Lautech releases new 'amended' academic calendar for second semester

LAUTECH has released an amended 2015/2016 academic calendar. The calendar was sent in an email the university community on Monday, April 24.


The amended calendar contained a timeline for both the 2015/2016 Harmattan semester (first semester) and the 2015/2016 Rain semester (second semester).

Curiously, the calendar did not appear consistent with present realities. According to the amended calendar, the Harmattan semester examinations were supposed to have ended on Saturday, April 15, but in reality, examinations are actually ending on Tuesday, April 24.




Also, the academic calendar stated that the Rain semester will begin Monday, April 17, but as at the time of this report (Monday, April 24), the first semester exams had not even been concluded, making this rather impossible.

Subject Combination For Lautech Post Utme

The upcoming post utme comprises of five compulsory subjects which include Mathematics, English, Chemistry, Physics and Biology. These should be the same subjects the candidate must have written in the just concluded Jamb/Utme. Lautech being a school of technology and science requires only science subject for the entrance examination. We'll keep you posted for further necessary information before the examination date.
