RECIPE OF THE WEEK: SPAGWA



Raise your hands!  If you're on a low budget and would love to eat healthy, or you get tired thinking of what to eat that you end up eating snacks or not eating at all, well this is for you.

Ever heard of 'SPAGWA'? That's a conglomerate of Spaghetti and beans(ewa). Low budget and filling 😋



Ingredients

Even as broke as you can be, you should have spaghetti, beans, tomato paste, onions and ata gigun. You can ask the lady next room for salt and Maggi to taste sha. And you need vegetable oil too!
If you try get small fish, crayfish and can soak ponmo too, it's a plus for you!

No oh!  Don't ask me the quantity of beans or spaghetti oh. Cook the quantity you know you can finish.

Cooking method
If you are like me, don't pick the beans. Just add plenty water and wash thoroughly. The stones will settle na, sheybi?

But if not,
Measure out your beans in a clean bowl and pick the stones wash and put in a pot that you know can cook it. Not that your leaking pot oh. Size doesn't matter. It sha should contain what you want to cook. Slice in onions and add water.
Forget the beans on top stove for like 20mins. (don't forget to add enough water while at it)
After 20mins, remove from the stove and set aside.

Get another pot, Break your spaghetti boil for 10 minutes bring down and set aside. If you need to boil your fish or wash your ponmo, now would be the best time to do so.

Place a clean pot in the burner add vegetable oil allow to heat for about 5 to 8 minutes.

Add your sliced onion allow for 3 minutes, add your tomato paste and ata gigun; put Maggi and salt to taste, if you have crayfish, add it. Mix and allow to cook for the time you can use to attend to one whatsapp message.
After you drop your phone, pour water enough for the seasonings to retain it's taste and bring to boil.
 After that, add your boiled beans, spaghetti and fish. Cover to cook.

When the water is almost dry add the remaining fresh tomato cover till well dry.

Just incase you think my story is too much...

SpaghWa is a concussion of spaghetti and beans. As a concussion king that you are, make the water base. (the mix of tomato paste, onions, ata gigun, Maggi, salt and vegetable oil)
Put the beans in, cook till almost soft, break in your spaghetti and allow both to cook well. If it's soft enough, mix together, taste and do last minute seasoning, remove from heat and serve!

Don't forget to call your padi, to come eat with you.
