"MEETING OF THUGS" - Solace responds to Oyo state government 'secret' invitation

The atmosphere of the already tired and frustrated Ladoke Akintola University students was filled with controversy yesterday, even as the January 9th Mass Action draws near.

The controversy draws it root from the text messages sent to some student leaders asking them to come for a meeting with the Governor in Ibadan today, not for a serious talk but for an act of "flexing their jaws" as the myopic NANS PRO posited.

Trying to correct such an element (the PRO) would never yield any result because he feels he knows how to write. In public speaking (he claims to understand so well), you do not use such clause in a tense situation like this.

I would not blame him because he is not out in the field to feel what is going on.

The Nigeria Student can be likened to a female toddler who has been raped several times, tortured and is left to suffer the psychological trauma for life.


How would the age-long injury heal?

We have been insulted several times, betrayed by the Government of the yesteryear's, toasted to vote and later dumped by these cajolers.

It is worthy to note that we have different records of betrayal even from our very own union; NANS, an association that has left the standing principles of the founding cadres to become a money-making association of Non-students.

NANS would remain a toothless bull dog until it returns to REAL STUDENTS WITH IDEOLOGY.

The vociferous and rambunctious spirits of the Nigeria students have left the association and all we are left with is an association with 'fissiparous' masquerades parading as leaders to be political whimsicals.

We all know this but the issue is WHY DO WE FORGET SO SOON? Why do we forget our pains so soon at just the seemingly juicy snap of fingers of the oppressors? Have we been hypnotized?

To all LAUTECH comrades genuinely in this struggle, I will lend you my palm to tap you all out of your Chronic amnesia and maybe the effect of the Governor's voodoo.

WAS IT NOT THE GOVERNOR WHO CALLED YOU ALL THUGS
